Discussion and possible action to enter into a professional service agreement to migrate the data in the legacy software known as JustWare into the new e-Prosecutor Go Live software owned by Journal Technologies, Inc. in the amount of Two Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars ($220,000.00); and authorizing the Webb County Judge to sign all relevant documents and any other matters incident thereto. Issue: Journal Technologies, Inc. is discontinuing the support for Justware which is the software utilized by the District Attorney's Office for handing their cases.

Solution: Journal Technologies, Inc. is able to migrate the data to their software platform called e-Prosecutor.

Result: The District Attorneys Office will be able to utilize the most up-to-date software to manage their cases.

Background:

The District Attorney's Office has utilized Journal Technologies, Inc. software known as Justware for several years. Journal Technologies has discontinued its Justware software and will no longer support it. The new software will be migrated by Journal Technologies to the e-Prosecutor software.
