Discussion and possible action to approve and adopt the revised Self-Help Center (SHC) Housing Rehabilitation/Reconstruction and New Construction Guidelines for SHC Contract Number 7220013.

Issue: Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) has proposed rule changes for the Self-Hep Center Programs. Webb County needs to revise the Self-Help Center Program's Guidelines to coincide with the proposed rule changes. The current grant Contract Number is 7220013.

Solution: Webb County Commissioners Court approves the Self-Help Center's revised guidelines.

Result: Webb County's Housing Assistance Guidelines for the Self-Help Center Program Contract Number 7220013 will be up-to-date with recent TDHCA rule changes.

Background:

The Webb County Self-Help Center Program Guidelines are being revised to reflect new rule changes proposed by the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs. The SHC Grant Contract period is 12/01/2020 - 12/01/2024. The SHC Grant Contract Number is 72220013.
