Discussion and possible action approve and consent to a contract assignment from Arguindegui Oil Co. II, Ltd. (who was awarded Bid No. 2022-05 on July 12, 2021, Item 17.b.) to Offen Petroleum, LLC. (“Offen”) as authorized in the original agreement between Webb County and Arguindegui Oil; and authorizing the Webb County Judge to sign all relevant documents and any other matters incident thereto.

Issue: Arguindegui Oil Co has assigned its agreement to Offen Petroleum.

Solution: The Agreement between Webb County and Arguindegui permits assignment so long as it is in writing.

Result: Webb County will continue to receive its services for fuel and lubricants.
