Discussion and possible action to accept a donation of one (1) Spectra GE Black and White Electric Stove (Model #164D3852G012) from Ms. Nelda Cortinas for the purpose of using it at the Bruni Community Center for public use and to further authorize the Purchasing Agent to auction the inoperable gas stove that will be replaced by donation in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code; Section 263.152 (Disposition)(1) and any other matters incident thereto.

Issue: Currently the Bruni Community Center’s Gas stove is inoperable and department is seeking funding solutions to acquire a new one.

Solution: Secure approval from Commissioners Court to accept the reference donation for public use and to add to Webb County’s property records.

Results: Donation of stove will be used for Community Center activities open to the general public and inoperable gas stove will be placed up for auction by the Webb County Purchasing Agent.
