Discussion and possible action approve a One (1) year Check Verification and Guaranteed Payment Processing Service and Loaner Agreement with Cross-Check in order for the Webb County Tax Assessor Collector to verify if individuals or business customers have sufficient funds drawn on their checking accounts at a cost of a 1.29% per transaction with an accompanying fee of ten cents ($.10) per said transaction along with a fifteen dollar ($15.00) per month subscription fee under the Agreement with said checks being verified through the use of point-of-sale equipment (25 machines) loaned to the Webb County Tax Assessor Collector by Cross-Check at a shipping cost of Four Hundred Dollars ($400.00) and any other matters incident thereto.
