Discussion and possible action to correct Webb County Personnel Policy 8.41- Definition of Immediate Family for Funeral Leave, in an effort to include County employee’s spouse immediate family, which was inadvertently left out in the amended Policy.

Issue: The definition of immediate family for the purpose of funeral leave has always included the employee’s spouse immediate family.

Solution: Approval of this revision will reflect the original intention of this policy.

Result: Webb County Personal Policy will reflect the original intent of defining immediate family for funeral leave.
