Issue:
Safety Specialist would like to make purchases for urgently needed items that will help reduce loss that Webb County might incur. Some items that we need are signage for county buildings, mats for floors, PPE, and other items as needed for the mitigation of injures, and our employee's loss of work due to injuries or potential injuries.
Solution:
By adequately funding the loss control program account, we will be able to invest these monies for needed materials to mitigate any injuries to our employees, and the public at large.
Result:
We will be able to prevent Workers Comp. Claims by purchasing these items. We will also be able to prevent any liability claims by implementing these items within Webb County Buildings. This will help in the overall protection of our employees and the public.
