Discussion and possible action to enter into a Car Dealer Subcontractor Contract, on behalf of the Webb County Tax Assessor with Sames Nissan Laredo to authorize Sames Nissan Laredo to act as an agent of the Tax Assessor-Collector in the issuance of motor vehicle registration license validation stickers and license plates, and in the application for vehicle titles and any matters incident thereto; authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents. There will be no impact to the General Fund.

Issue: The state motor department requires that we have a contract with all subcontractor and all franchise motor vehicle dealers.

Solution: Commissioners court authorization to renew contracts.

Result: To be in compliance with the Texas department of Motor Vehicle requirements.
