Discussion and possible action to ratify a thirty (30) year term “Well Pad, Facility Pipeline, and Subsurface Easement Agreement” concerning the Webb County School Lands (Penjamo Pasture) located off Highway 44 with Lewis Petro Properties, Inc. in an amount payable to Webb County of Two Hundred Seventeen Thousand Two Hundred Sixteen Dollars ($217,216.00) with said amount increased by 2.5% if said Easement is renewed by Lewis Petro Properties at end of easement term, and any matters incident thereto.

Issue: Lewis Energy is seeking to place an offsite drill pad on the Penjamo Pasture so it can develop its mineral leases adjacent and north to the Pasture.

Solution: Grant Lewis Energy a thirty-year easement for an offsite drill pad with accompanying pipeline and road right of way with Webb County being compensated in the amount of $217,216.00 for said easement. Lease is automatically renewed every 30 years as long as said payment is made which is increased by 2.5%. Court approved the Pricing amount at its June 27^th commissioners court meeting.

Background: Lewis Energy is seeking to drill an offsite drill pad on the Penjamo Pasture in order to develop its mineral leases adjacent and north to the pastures. Amount paid will go to benefit the School Districts located in Webb County.
