Discussion and possible action to enter into a two-year Option Extension Agreement (October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2024) between Angel Care Ambulance Service, LLC and Webb County for medical ambulance services at a monthly cost of Sixty Two Thousand Dollars ($62,000.00) for a total cost of One Million Four Hundred Eighty-Eight Thousand Dollars ($1,488,000) over the two year term extension, subject to annual budget appropriations, and authorizing the County Judge to sign and execute all relevant documents; and any other matters incident thereto. Issue: Residents of the unincorporated areas of Webb County do not have access to emergency ambulance care services as do residents living within the corporate limits of the City of Laredo.

Solution: Provide Emergency Ambulance Care Services to the residents of the unincorporated areas of Webb County, which said county has been and is currently providing.

Result: Provide Emergency Ambulance Care Services to the residents of the unincorporated areas of Webb County, which said county has been and is currently providing.

Background:

Webb County has been providing emergency ambulance care services to residents of the unincorporated areas of Webb County with said services being currently provided by Angel Care Ambulance Service.
