Public Hearing to consider the proposed budget for fiscal year 2022-2023 pursuant to Texas Local Government Code Section 111.067. At the Conclusion of the Public Hearing, the Commissioners Court shall take action on the proposed budget pursuant to Texas Local Government Code Section 111.068. This budget will raise more total property taxes than last year's budget by $22,623,187, which is a 25.91% increase and of that amount, $1,503,391 is tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year.
