Discussion and possible action to authorize the Economic Development Department to develop and submit a U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development (USDA RD) Emergency Community Water Assistance Grant application for up to $1,000,000.00 for reimbursement on expenses made to haul water to Colonia La Presa and Highway 59 Colonias Group; approving a resolution for authorization of grant submission to USDA RD; and authorizing the County Judge to act as the Authorized Representative in all matters pertaining to the County's request. This application does not require match.

Issue: Submission of an application to USDA RD for the Emergency Community Water Assistance Grants that will provide safe and reliable drinking water to residents in La Presa and Highway 59 Colonias Group.

Solution: The Economic Development Department will develop and submit the application.

Result: If funded, Webb County will provide safe and reliable drinking water to residents in La Presa and Highway 59 Colonias Group.
