Discussion and possible action to award Request for Qualifications (RFQ) 2022-005 three (3) year contract for medical services to Arturo G. Garza-Gongora, M.D. for services to include but not limited to medical consultations, physicals, general treatment, prescriptions and related services required by a licensed medical doctor for the Webb County Jail, Juvenile Detention Center and Start Programs and to further authorize the Civil Legal Division to negotiate the terms and conditions, fees and any other matters incident thereto.

Issue: The above-mentioned contract(s) are set to expire on September 30, 2022. Formal Request for Qualifications were published.

Solution: Recommend awarding professional services to Dr. Garza-Gongora, sole proposal for this public solicitation.

Result: If approved by Commissioners Court, professional service agreement(s) will be effective October 1st, 2022. Subject to Court approval on final terms and conditions and applicable fees for professional service agreement.
