Discussion and possible action to authorize the Purchasing Agent to utilize local cooperative organizations: Amazon Business (Omnia Partners R-TC-17006), Staples Business Advantage (Sourcewell #012320-SCC), Home Depot (Omnia Partners #16154 and #170009), Lowe’s (Omnia Partners R192006), Grainger (Sourcewell #121218-WWG), Southern Tire Mart (BuyBoard 636-21), Lakeshore Learning Materials (Omnia Partners #040121-LSH), Rush Truck Centers (BuyBoard 601-19) for the purchase of goods and services for Fiscal Year End 2023 in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code; Sub-Chapter F. Cooperative Purchasing Program, Sections 271.101, 271.102 (Cooperative Purchasing Participation) and any other matters incident thereto.

Issue: Webb County benefits from online marketplace vendors that provide value pricing on various items.

Solution: Utilizing local cooperative contract pricing through online marketplace vendors is a mechanism in providing Webb County best value for items purchased.

Result: Authorizing the Purchasing Agent to use local co-ops for online marketplace purchases.
