Discussion and possible action to enter into a three-year (September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2025) Professional Services Contract with GDJ Engineering, LLC concerning consultant work involving county infrastructure projects as well as assisting the county in identifying funding opportunities involving the Laredo & Webb County Metropolitan Planning Organization (“MPO”) and the Texas Department of Transportation (“TXDOT”); with said work to be undertaken by GDJ Engineering, LLC will be pursuant to a “Work Authorization” subject to approval by the Webb County Commissioners Court, and authorizing the County Judge to sign and execute all relevant documents; and any matters incident thereto. Issue: Webb County seeks the assistance of a qualified engineer or engineering firm to provide consulting services regarding county infrastructure projects as well as assisting the county in identifying funding opportunities involving the regional MPO and TXDOT.

Solution: Webb County issued Request for Qualifications to hire an Engineer/Engineering Firm to provide consulting services regarding county infrastructure projects as well as assisting the county with identifying funding opportunities regarding with MPO and TXDOT project.

Result: Webb County qualified GDL Engineering, LLC to provide consulting work on county engineering projects as well as identifying funding opportunities involving the Laredo & Webb County Metropolitan Planning Organization (“MPO”) and the Texas Department of Transportation (“TXDOT”)
