Discussion and possible action to authorize the Webb County Purchasing Agent to solicit formal Requests for Qualifications (RFQ's) for Architectural Services for the design of house plans for the Self-Help Center Program pursuant to the Texas Government Code; Chapter 2254 (Professional and Consulting Services) and any other matters incident thereto.

Issue: Self Help Center Grant Contract #7220013 requires model house plans designed and sealed by a licensed professional Architect be accessible for colonia residents wishing to build a new code compliant home.

Solution: Authorize the Purchasing Agent to solicit formal RFQ to secure responses from Architectural firms.

Result: Obtain responses to the RFQ from Architectural firms that are qualified to design the required model house plans.
