Discussion and possible action to approve the purchase of one (1) Mega-Track MCU Series software and equipment to include factory start-up/initial on-site installation and training from Mega-Tronics International Corp. (Buy-Board Contract #590-19) for a total not to exceed $30,211.00 in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code; Sections 271.101, 271.102, Sub-Chapter F. Cooperative Purchasing Programs; and to further authorize the transfer of funds from the General Fund Operational Reserve Account #1001-1130-001-431007-010 to the General Fund/Vehicle Maintenance Capital Outlay Account #1001-1120-001-470000 and any other matters incident thereto. Issue: Road and Bridge Department/Motor Pool is recommending upgrading the existing fuel dispensing software, it will be compatible with the new fuel dispensers being purchased. Current software is outdated and upgrading will provide better compatibility with new fuel dispensers and other equipment being replaced in order to dispense fuel for County operations.

Solution: Consideration to approve the purchase of required software, site installation, training and related expenses.

Result: If approved, order software and equipment needed for motor pool operation.
