Discussion and possible action to accept Amendment No. 19 for the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) (Contract #000158100) for additional funds for the fiscal year 2023 in the amount of FIFTY-NINE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED NINETY-SEVEN AND SIXTY NINE CENTS ($59,997.69), FY23 total Budget 589,463.10, and authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents. This action will not have an impact to the General Fund. Documentation has been reviewed by Webb County Economic Development Department and is compliant with SPOC policies and procedures. Issue: Texas Health and Human Services Commission (Region 11, HHS Contract No 000158100) is adding additional funds for the fiscal Year 2022-2023 budget by adding funding these funds we will have a total budget amount of $589,463.10 for the home delivered meals program.

Solution: The discussion and possible action is to accept Amendment #19 with the current HHSC contract to provide Home-Delivered Meals to the elderly, home-bound residents of Webb County.

Result: The HHSC addition will provide an additional estimated 11,299 Home Delivered Meals from October 1, 2022, through September 30, 2023.
