Discussion and possible action to authorize the Purchasing Agent to solicit for competitive proposals for Courtroom and Office renovations to the Webb County Justice of the Peace Precinct 1, Place 1 and in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code; Section 262.030 (Alternative Competitive Proposal Procedure for Certain Goods and Services) and any other matters incident thereto.[Account #1001-2140-001-470000 (General Fund - JP Pct1 Pl1 - Administration Capital Outlay)]

Issue: Judge Paz is requesting renovations to his courtroom mainly replacement of carpet and refinishing of court benches and jury seating to include some areas of his general office area. Judge Paz requested funding during the budget process to support this project under the general fund during fiscal year 2022-2023.

Solution: Authorize the Purchasing Agent to seek competitive sealed proposals for this project.

Result: Return to Court with the best value proposal for Commissioners Court to consider for award.
