Discussion and possible action to approve the posting and filling of the following Slot as well as any remaining vacant slot created by promoting from within, subject to the availability of payroll funds and any applicable Civil Service guidelines, as well as any and all Wage Plan Policies, effective November 28, 2022:

Issue: Slot number 2616 will become vacant on December 1, 2022. This slot may be filled from within, thus, creating a vacant Assistant Public Defender II slot.

Solution: Request is being made to post and fill the vacant Supervising Attorney slot (#2616), and to post and fill any remaining vacant Assistant Public Defender II slot created by promoting from within.

Result: This action will allow our department to promote from within and fill the remaining vacant slot, and will allow us to continue to function efficiently and effectively.
