Discussion and possible action authorizing the Purchasing Agent to add three (3) new cell phones including data services for the Webb County Fire Marshal’s Office pursuant to Sections 271.101 and 271.102, Texas Local Government Code, Cooperative Purchasing program DIR Agreement TELE-CTSA-002 at a monthly rate of $38.49 per phone ($115.47 per month), plus surcharges and other related fees per line with the AT&T FirstNet Plan and subject to annual budgetary appropriation. Issue: Cell phones with FirstNet services are needed to better assist with any Webb County operations and emergencies.

Solution: Webb County issued cell phones will ensure better services and availability to the County and community.

Result: Staff will be able to respond to calls making department efficient and safe.
