Discussion and possible action to issue a “Certificate of No-Plat Required” pursuant to Section 232.0015(a), Texas Local Government Code and the provisions of the Webb County Subdivision Regulations Section XVI.1.A (1) to a 5.001 acre tract of land lying in the Porcion 32, Antonio Trevino Survey, Abstract 296, Webb County, Texas, same being a portion of a 5.0 acre tract of land as described and recorded in Volume 3602, Page 642, Official Public Records of Webb County, Texas, and more particularly described and depicted in as described in Volume 4813, Pages 0393 – 0399, Official Public Records of Webb County, Texas (ID 12411).

Background:

Pursuant to the provisions of Sect. XVI.1.A(1) of the Webb County Subdivision Regulations, a plat is not required for tracts of land used exclusively by a public utility service provider for the delivery of a public utility service. This 5 acre tract will be used exclusively by AEP as a substation as part of the electrical grid infrastructure.
