Discussion and possible action to approve a sixty (60) month State and Local Fair Market Value Lease Agreement for equipment, software support service & maintenance between Webb County and Pitney Bowes (Buy-Board Contract 656-21) for the Webb County Justice of the Peace Pct. 4 Office, commencing February 1, 2023 thru January 31, 2028 in the sum of $156.36 per month or billed quarterly at $469.08 pursuant to the Texas Local Government Code, Sec. 271.101, 271.102, Sub-Chapter F. cooperative Purchasing Programs; subject to annual budgetary appropriations and authorizing the Webb County Judge to execute any and all relevant documents and any other matters incident thereto. Issue: Pitney Bows agreement has come to an end.

Solution: Approval of lease renewal agreement.

Result: Renewal of lease agreement will help ease the outgoing mail for the office.

Background:

The Local Government Purchasing Cooperative (BuyBoard) awarded contract under Office Supplies and Equipment, Contract 656-21 effective December 1, 2021 through November 30, 2022, renewal of lease will be 60 months, commencing February 1, 2023 thru January 31, 2028.

Previous Court Action:

Yearly Commissioner's Court approval of lease with Pitney Bowes.
