Discussion and possible action to authorize the purchase of police equipment for two (2) 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe’s from Silsbee Ford (TIPs Contract No. 210907) for an amount not to exceed $52,235.76 pursuant to the Texas Local Government Code; Sections 271.101, 271.102, Sub-Chapter F. Cooperative Purchasing Programs and any other matters incident thereto. [Account #2469-3180-001-470000 (2021 Operation Stone-garden Grant-Constable Pct. 2 - Capital Outlay)]

Issue: Police units for Constable Pct. 2 have been ordered and ready for shipment to outfitter. Prior order of units and requested police equipment is being funded through 2021 Operational Stone-Garden Grant funds.

Solution: Consideration for approval to use cooperative contracted vendor for outfitting of police units for Constable Pct. 2.

Results: Proceed with order and close out of grant funds accordingly.
