Discussion and possible action to approve the submission Grant Amendment #1 to contract #58220003600 for the Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) from Texas Department of Community Affairs (TDHCA) for the fiscal year 2022 and authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents. This action will not have an impact to the General Fund. Documentation has been reviewed by Webb County Economic Development Department and is compliant with SPOC policies and procedures.

Issue: Approve submission of Grant #1 to contract #58220003600 from Texas Department of Community Affairs (TDHCA) for the Program Year 2022 and approve contract amendment.

Solution: The Court approval will allow the Webb County CAA to provide direct services to eligible low-income residents of Webb County under the CEAP Program.

Result: These funds are intended to assist qualifying clients with their home energy expenses.
