Discussion and possible action to authorize the purchase of seventeen (17) Glocks Blue Label 45/26 Gen 5 - 9mm weapons from Primary Arms, LLC., in an amount not to exceed $7,325.48 and any other matters incident thereto. [Account #2202-3170-001-457006 (Constable Pct. 4 Federal Forfeiture - Law Enforcement - Other)]

Issue: Due to recent reports of accidental misfires without trigger being touched with the Sig Sauer P320 weapons, the Constable’s Office is recommending to replace current weapons with Glocks.

Solution: Two price quotes were secured. Recommendation to purchase from low bidder.

Result: New weapons will be purchased utilizing federal forfeiture funds. Order will be placed after Court approval. The Purchasing Agent and Constable for Pct. 4 will return to Commissioners Court at a later date with final recommended disposition of current weapons being replaced.
