Discussion and possible action to authorize the purchase of one (1) 2023 John Deere Gator Model No. HPX815E (Source-well Grounds Maintenance Cooperative Contract #031121-DAC (PG NB CG 70)) in an amount not to exceed $14,782.28, to include a one (1) year warranty/1000 hours, and to consider the approval to authorize one of the following optional extended warranties listed below in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code, Sub-Chapter F. Cooperative Purchasing Program; Section 271.102 (Cooperative Purchasing Program Participation) for the Road and Bridge Department and to further authorize the transfer of funds from Account #1001-1100-001-443000-365 (Building Maintenance-Repairs & Maintenance-Life Downs) to Account #2007-7150-001-470000 (Capital Outlay) and any other matters incident thereto. Issue: Employees at Road and Bridge assist in cutting grass, branches, brush and maintain and repair fences all around Life Downs.

Solution: A John Deere Gator will help in the transportation of tools/materials and the ease to get into difficult terrain.

Result: Employees will get maintenance done faster and easier.

JD Bumper-to-bumper warranty / Comprehensive Warranty - Routine Maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, wear and tear items, brake pads, clutches, windshield wiper replacements, headlight bulbs, exterior or body panel damage, & dings and scratches in the paint are not covered in the warranty.
