Discussion and possible action to approve Amendment #1 for the Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) to Contract #58230003850 from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) for FY-2023, this Amendment will amend Section 36. Special Conditions C.1. of this Contract and authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents. This action will not have an impact to the General Fund.

Issue: Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) has awarded an Amendment #1 to Contract Number #58230003850 under the CEAP Program.

Solution: The Court approval will allow the Webb County CAA to provide direct services to eligible low-income residents of Webb County under the CEAP Program.

Result: These funds are intended to assist eligible Webb County residents with up to 12 months of energy consumption.
