Discussion and possible action to authorize the Purchasing Agent to advertise an Invitation to Bid for the removal of existing carpet and replacement with new carpet or tile for the 49th District Court, 111th District Court, 341st District Court, and 406th District Court in accordance with the Texas County Purchasing Act and any other matters incident thereto.

Issue: Carpet replacement is needed for various county offices, projected cost will exceed the $50,000.00 ceiling.

Solution: Authorize the Purchasing Agent to secure formal bid proposals to obtain the best price for requested services.

Result: An Invitation to Bid will be posted to provide interested vendors an opportunity to bid on project in order to obtain competitive pricing.
