Discussion and possible action to accept and execute award FY 2023-2024 Federal Grant 5311-2023 -WEBB CO- 00005 and enter into agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) for Webb County Community Action Agency - El Aguila Rural Transportation in the amount of FOUR HUNDRED EIGHTY-THREE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED SEVENTY DOLLARS ($483,770.00). Requires a county match in the amount of FIFTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($15,000). All required documentation has been submitted to the Economic Development Department for review and the solicitation is compliant with Webb County (SPOC) Single Point of Contact procedures. Issue: El Aguila rural transportation is grant funded agency.

Solution: Acceptance and execution of funds will benefit both operating and administrative and allow for continued transportation services.

Result: Continuation of services throughout the rural areas of Webb County.
