Discussion and possible action to approve and adopt the Texas Community Development Block Grant Guidelines for Colonia Fund Construction Program Housing Rehabilitation Contract CFC22-0089. Guidelines have been submitted to the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) and approved. All required documents were sent for review through the Economic Development Department and the solicitation with the Webb County Single Point of Contact (SPOC) procedures. There is no impact on the Webb County General Fund.

Issue: Texas Community Development Block Grant for Colonia Fund Construction Program requires that Webb County develop and adopt guidelines for the Webb County Colonia Fund Housing Rehabilitation Project grant contract.

Solution: Webb County Commissioner's Court approves the Webb County Colonia Fund Housing Rehabilitation Project proposed guidelines.

Result: Webb County complies with the TxCDBG requirement of adopting housing assistance guidelines for Rehabilitation for the Webb County Colonia Fund Housing Rehabilitation Project contract CFC22-0089.

Background:

The Webb County Colonia Fund Housing Rehabilitation Project guidelines are being proposed as required by the Texas Community Development Block Grant for the Rehabilitation activities.
