Discussion and possible action to approve Amendment No. 3 for the Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) Contract Number# 58230003850 from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) FY-2023. This amendment is a grant increase from $2,241,892 to $2,801,111, for a total increase of Five Hundred Fifty-Nine Thousand Two Hundred Nineteen Dollars ($559,219). Authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents for request and approval of contract amendment. This action will not have an impact to the General Fund.

Issue: Approve CEAP Contract Amendment No.3 request from Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) for the Program Year 2023.

Solution: The court approval will allow the Webb County Community Action Agency to provide direct services to eligible low-income residents of Webb County under the CEAP program.

Result: These funds are intended to assist qualifying clients with their immediate home energy expenses.
