Discussion and possible action to authorize the Purchasing Agent to solicit Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Architectural Services for the design, preparation of construction documents and construction administration for renovations to the Webb County Fairgrounds Facility to include but not limited to Pavilion restrooms and concession area, outside restrooms, restaurant restrooms, restaurant walls/flooring and kitchen area in accordance with the Texas Government Code; Professional Services Procurement Act and any other matters incident thereto.

Issue: Renovations are needed in order to provide quality venue for rentals.

Solution: Authorize the Purchasing Agent to secure statement of qualifications for the requested services in accordance with the Professional Services Act.

Result: Return to Court with rankings and recommendation for selection of most qualified firm for award.
