Discussion and possible action to approve the purchase of one (1) Peterbilt 537 Brush Grapple Truck from Rush Truck Center (Buy Board Contract #723-23) in an amount not to exceed $276,744.15 pursuant to Sections 271.101 and 271.102 of the Texas Local Government Code, Cooperative Purchasing program; and any other matters incident thereto [2007-7150-001-470000 (Road and Bridge Road Maintenance - Capital Outlay)].

Issue: The Webb County Road and Bridge Department needs one (1) Peterbilt 537 Brush Grapple Truck for use for loading and transporting bulky waste, construction materials, fallen trees, and other items.

Solution: Consideration to purchase the Brush Grapple Truck from Rush Truck Centers utilizing the Texas Buy Board cooperative pricing. Equipment was approved through the FY23-24 Budget process.

Result: If approved, the order will be initiated immediately after Commissioners' Court meeting. Estimated time of delivery is 14 days.
