Discussion and possible action to approve a property settlement and release agreement with Kemper Insurance on behalf of Jesus Gamboa Parez as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on October 28, 2022, on Saunders and McClelland Street, Laredo, Texas, and any other matters incident thereto. [Executive Session may be requested pursuant to Texas Government Code, Title 5, Subchapter D, Section 551.071(1)(B) (Consultation with attorney regarding pending settlement offer)]

Issue: A two-vehicle collision involving Sheriff motor vehicle unit 27-396 (2021 Ford Explorer) and a 2007 Chevrolet Suburban driven by Gamboa Parez, damage was sustained on both vehicles.

Solution: To approve the property settlement regarding Sheriff motor vehicle unit 27-396.

Result: Once property settlement is approved, Webb County, as Claimant, will release Mr. Parez and his insurance carrier (Kemper) for all property claims regarding Unit 27-396.
