Discussion and possible action to approve a First Amendment to the Solar Lease and Easement Agreement as well as to the Memorandum to said Lease with Grandsolar Texas Two, LLC by replacing Exhibit A of said Agreement which reflected the property description of the leased property (School Lands off Highway 59) based on an abstract of title description of ownership and now being replaced with an actual surveyed metes and bounds, and authorizing the County Judge to sign and execute all relevant documents; and any matters incident thereto. There is no impact on the General Fund.

Issue: On December 20, 2021, Webb County entered into a lease agreement with Grandsolar Texas Two, LLC regarding a solar development project on the Webb County School Lands off Highway 59; however, the original lease that was entered into reflected the property description of the Webb County School Lands off Highway 59 based on an abstract of title description of ownership which gives a more accurate measurement of the Webb County School Lands.

Solution: Grandsolar Texas Two, LLL has done an actual metes and bounds survey of the Webb County School Lands off Highway 59.

Result: Webb County now has a current survey of the Webb County school lands off Highway 59.
