Discussion and possible action to authorize the purchase of One (1) Kaufman 30 foot Flatbed Trailer including warranty for one year for an amount not to exceed $26,590.00 from Kaufman Trailers, LLC for the Water Utilities Department and any other matters incident thereto. [Account #7200-7050-001-470000 (Water Utility Administration-Capital Outlay)]

Issue: Water Utilities was approved through the fiscal year 2024 budget for a one (1) flatbed trailer to be utilized to transport heavy-duty equipment for the department. 

Solution: Consideration to award the purchase from Kaufman Trailers, LLC. Funding is available in the Utilities Department capital budget. 

Result: If approved, the order will be initiated immediately after the Commissioners Court meeting. Estimated time of delivery is projected at 8 to 10 weeks.
