Discussion and possible action to accept Contract Amendment No. 2 to Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) Contract #58930004003 from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) for FY-2023. This amendment will hereby delete and replace Exhibit A budget, of this Contract in its entirety with the attached Exhibit A, allowing for the transfer of FORTY SIX THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED TWENTY FOUR DOLLARS AND SIXTY THREE CENTS ($46,324.63) from Administration to the Direct Services Utility Assistance Account. All the remaining terms of the Contract shall be and remain in full force and effect as therein set forth and shall continue to govern and authorizing the County judge to sign all relevant documents. This action will not have an impact to the General Fund. All required documents were sent for review through the Economic Development Department and the solicitation with Webb County Single Point of Contact (SPOC) procedures. [Account #2365-5360-521]

Issue: Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) presented CAA Social Services with amendment No.2 for the Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP).

Solution: The Court approval will allow the Webb County Community Action Agency to continue providing direct services to eligible low-income residents of Webb County under the CEAP program.

Result: Approval of the amendment will ensure the continuation of services to qualifying low-income clients.
