Discussion and possible action to enter into four agreements with RGM Land Management, LLC for site evaluation, design, and installation of On-Site Sewage Facilities (Septic Systems) involving four Colonia properties for the following landowners: (1) Catarina Casares, 320 Don Antonio Road, Colorado Acres, (2) Jose Israel Garcia Lopez, 150 Los Fresno Road, Ranchitos Los Fresnos; (3) Nora Villarreal, 133 Los Fresnos Road, Ranchitos Los Fresnos, and (4) Lisa Gonzalez and Antonio Gonzalez, 190 N. Ranch Road 7132E, Las Lomas Section II, Tract 227 with said property owners being third-party beneficiaries to the installation contracts in an amount not to exceed ONE HUNDRED THIRTY-THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($133,000.00), authorizing the County Judge to execute all relevant documents, and any other matters incident thereto. Issue: On September 25, 2023, the Webb County Commissioners Court approved the “First Time On-Site Sewer Facilities (OSSF) or Replacement Program” (“OSSF Program”) for eligible Colonia residents to be able to have a septic system installed on their property.
Solution: At the February 26, 2024 Commissioners Court Meeting, the Court awarded Invitation to Bid (ITB) 2014-004 “ARPA Project No. 6” to RGM Land Management, LLC to do site evaluation, design, and septic system installation for four Colonia properties (two in Los Fresnos, one in Colorado Acres, and one in Ranchitos Las Lomas) that met the eligibility requirements under the county’s OSSF Program. Under each contract, Contractor has 90 calendar days to complete the site evaluation, design and septic system installation on each of the properties.
Result: Four eligible county residents and landowners will receive a septic system in order for the property owners to be able to safely remove household wastewater. |
