Discussion and possible action to authorize the renewal of the agreement between Webb County Community Action Agency and Direct Energy Neighbor-to-Neighbor (N2N) Bill Assistance Program. The purpose of these contributions is to provide funding for energy assistance payments to Direct Energy customers. Webb County Community Action Agency will continue to utilize these funds to assist qualified Direct Energy clients and authorizing the County Judge to execute all relevant documents and any other matters incident thereto. All required documents were sent to the Economic Development Department and were found in compliance with the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) policy. This agreement will have no impact on the general fund. [Account #2924-5170-521-441205]

Issue: WCCAA has a remaining balance of $4,876.48 under the Neighbor-to-Neighbor program.

Solution: To approve the renewal of the agreement between WCCAA and Direct Energy Neighbor-to-Neighbor program.

Result: Community Action Agency will continue to accept program applications from qualifying customers as eligible recipients in accordance with the N2N program requirements, in order to expend remaining funds.
