Discussion and possible action to ratify the approval of contract term extension for Amendment #3 to Contract #58930004003 for the Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) from Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) for the program year 2023. Extending contract from March 31, 2024, to June 30, 2024. Authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents. This contract will not have an impact on the General Fund. All required documents were sent for review through Economic Development and the solicitation is compliant with the Webb County single point of contact (SPOC) procedures. [Grant Account #2365-5360-521]

Issue: Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) presented CAA Social Services with a three-month contract term extension through the CEAP Supplemental Contract Amendment No.3.

Solution: The Court approval will allow the Webb County Community Action Agency to continue providing direct services to eligible low-income residents of Webb County under the CEAP program.

Result: Approval of the amendment will ensure the continuation of services to qualifying low-income clients.
