Discussion and possible action to approve the purchase of a Dell VX-Rail Server Solution and Microsoft Licenses from Insight and SHI pursuant to Sections 271.101 and 271.102, Texas Local Government Code, Cooperative Purchasing program DIR-TSO-3763 and DIR-CPO-5237 respectively in the amount of Five Hundred Fifty Thousand Two Hundred Ninety-Two Dollars and Fifty Cents ($550,292.50), and to further authorize a budget amendment from the General Operational Fund #1001-1130-001-431007-010 (Operational Reserve) to the I.T.'s Department Captital Outlay Account #1001-1280-001-470000. The General Operational Reserve shall only be used after utilizing all of the remaining balances in the following mentioned funds. [Fund #3015 (Contingency Reserve Fund), Fund 3864 (Bond Series 2016)]

Issue: Existing equipment is reaching the end of support.

Solution: Purchasing the recommended replacement solution.

Result: Judicial, Jail Management, enterprise and other various applications will continue to be facilitated and supported.
