Discussion and possible action to approve Change Order No. 1 for the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs Resiliency Program Grant Contract No. 70800001013 for an increase of 10 days to the contract with AOC Calton, Ltd. d/b/a Summit Building & Design for the Southern Health Facility, due to rain days and difficulty accessing property and further authorizing the Webb County Judge to execute all relevant documents and any other matters incident thereto.

Issue: Contractor experienced rain days that delayed construction, as well as had issues accessing the property.

Solution: Approve change order that will allow the contractor to have extra days to finish construction.

Result: Contractor will finish construction within contract timeframe.

Background:

Commissioner's court awarded invitation to Bid (ITB) No. 2023-010 "Southern Health Facility Contract No.70800001013" to the lowest and responsible bidder AOC Calton, Ltd. d/b/a Summit Building & Design in an amount not to exceed $6,763,329.00
