Discussion and possible action to enter into an architectural services agreement (AIA Document B101 - 2017 Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and architect as amended) with JHS Architect, Inc. revising and replacing an assigned agreement (previously approved by Webb County on October 23, 2023) for the design (construction plans and specifications) of the Webb County Veterans Building Rehabilitation and Preservation Project for Phase I which consists of the development of construction document (plans and specs) necessary to stabilize the building and renovate the exterior of the building (with Texas Historical Commission approvals), including new roofing and electrical (electrical may be deferred to Phase II) and Phase II which consists of the development of construction documents (plans and specs) necessary to complete the interior of the building, landscaping and parking area for use as a Veteran’s Service Center and Museum in an amount not to exceed Four Hundred Thirty-Three Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars ($433,800.00) and One Hundred Sixty-Three Four Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars ($163,425.0) for civil engineering, landscape architect, acoustical audiovisual consultant and museum exhibit consultant for a total cost of Five Hundred Ninety-Seven Thousand Two Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars ($597,225.00), approving the project as ARPA funded and any matters incident thereto; authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents.
