Discussion and possible action to approve and execute FY 2024-2025 Federal 5339-R-2024- WEBB CO 00044 for Webb County Community Action Agency - El Aguila Rural Transportation from the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) in the amount of EIGHTY-FIVE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS ($84,750.00) This grant does not require a cash match and will have no impact on the General Fund. All required documentation has been submitted to the Economic Development Department for review and was found to be compliant with the Single Point Of Contact (SPOC) policy. [Requested by Community Action Agency]

Issue: Rural Public Transportation is a grant-funded agency.

Solution: Through the approval and execution of the Federal grant, it will allow the department to receive the funds.

Result: Approval and execution of the capital grant will ensure continued transportation services to the rural areas of Webb County.
