Discussion and possible action to accept a Prescription Drug Rebate check from Texas Associates of Counties in the amount of Seventy Thousand One Hundred Forty-One Dollars and Thirty-Six Cents, ($70,141.36). Check Number 2174, dated June 23, 2016 to be deposited in Revenue Account #816-0105-3741 (Revenue Account Refunds).

Background:

This check represents a reduction in claim cost for the County's prescription drug program through Texas Association of Counties Health and Employee Benefits Pool. Participating in the Pool allows these refunds from prescription drug manufacturers which only large groups are normally eligible to receive.
