Subject:

Discussion and possible to approve an addendum to the Task Force agreement dated October 1, 2015, between the United States Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the Webb County Constable Precinct 1 (WCCP1). The term of the Agreement shall be effective from the date specified in the opening paragraph through September 20, 2016; except as modified by the addendum, the Agreement between DEA and the WCCP1 shall remain in full force and effect; and authorizing the County Judge to sign and execute all relevant documents. There will be no impact to the County General Fund.

Issue: The current MOU allows for Webb County Constable Precinct 1 to assign one (1) deputy to the task force; the department has requested approval to assign an additional deputy.

Solution: Approval of addendum to assign the additional deputy.

Result: Deputy will be able to work with task force.
