Discussion and possible action to approve the following refunds;

a) The amount of $10,188.48 to the Webb County Tax Office, Account #72000001042, as per Supplement 12 Certified 2015, Improvements combined with #72000001039 per mapping review and protest 2011-13738 resolved on 7/20/16 per settlement and waiver for years 2011 through 2015.

b) The amount of $9,010.31 to Lowe's Home Center Inc c/o Tax Department, Account #97620002300, Supplement 12 Certified 2015, Adjust value per District Court 341st Judicial District Cause #2014CV8001431D3 for years 2014 and 2015.

Issue: a) Account #72000001042 was deleted and combined for years 2011 through 2015 with Account #72000001039 which generated a refund since the account had been paid prior to receiving the adjustment from the Webb County Appraisal District. b) Account #97620002300 had the value adjusted per Cause #2014CV8001431D3 for years 2014 and 2015. This adjustment generated a refund since the account had been paid prior to receiving the adjustment from the Webb County Appraisal District.

Solution: Refund said amounts to both entities for their over-payments.

Result: The monies will be reimbursed to the appropriate taxpayer and the pending balance on Account #72000001039 will be paid.
