Discussion and possible action to amend the Personnel Policies to include clarification provision for the Webb County Fire Department regulating overtime, in compliance with the Federal Labor Standards Act, 29 U.S.C § 207 (k); and any other matters incident thereto.

Issue: Clarification and specificity as to overtime for the Fire Department (First Responders).

Solution: The Policy will outline the provisions and criteria applicable to the First Responders of the Fire Department who are hourly employees.

Result: This amendment will place us under compliance, for federal rules and Federal Labor Standars Act rules.
