Discussion and possible action authorizing the Engineering Department to use Fund 712 (Right of Way Acquisition Series 2006) in the amount not to exceed $20,000.00, from Account #712-7101-6022 (Professional Services) for Title Reports, Surveys and other Professional Services as needed for Colonias of Webb County for Roadway Right of Way and Public Easement Acquisition.

Issue: Some existing Colonias of Webb County are platted since the mid 1980's with private access roads and are not in compliance with actual road standards and the County of Webb has been working with private adjacent property owners to acquire by donation, the necessary strip of land along their properties to widen the existing road, up to roadway right of way standards.

Solution: Approve the use of funds to perform, as needed, Title Report ownership and strip of land surveys.

Result: The Colonia residents and property owners will receive an acceptable ingress and egress road, properly improved and maintained by Webb County.
